# Can SKU IQ Sync Modifiers?

## SKU IQ is unable to sync modifiers at this time.

Restaurants will generally use modifiers instead of variants to allow patrons to customize their orders. At this time, SKU IQ cannot sync Modifiers due to limitations in our API. We currently can only sync items that have variants and have finite quantities (meaning that they are available in-stock and have either a size, color, or both to distinguish what the items are). We hope to be able to service this part of the eCommerce industry in the future.
